Draft for review. This wording comes from the current REALM draft and still needs a lawyer’s review before launch. Check against the new site: it sets only the sign-in cookies listed under "What this website stores" below (plus Google’s own cookies if a visitor taps "Show map"), with no analytics or marketing cookies, so it has no cookie banner. The reCAPTCHA, cookie-banner and payment wording comes from the Wix draft and may need to change.

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. REALM uses them to keep the site working and to understand how it's used.

What this website stores

__Host-realm_site (cookie, essential): Keeps you signed in to your REALM account on this website. Set only when you sign in; after 12 hours the site quietly checks with REALM Accounts again, and it is removed when you sign out. Not readable by page scripts.
__Host-realm_flow (cookie, essential): Protects the sign-in step against forgery. Lasts 10 minutes and is removed as soon as sign-in finishes.
__Host-realm_2fa (cookie, essential): Only if your account asks for a two-step sign-in code: keeps your sign-in request, encrypted, for up to 10 minutes while you type the code. Not readable by page scripts.
realm_nosso (cookie, essential): Set for 10 minutes when REALM Accounts says nobody is signed in, so the website shows its own sign-in page instead of checking again and again. Removed after you sign in.
realm_lang (cookie, preference): Only if you pick a language (English, Vosa Vakaviti or Fiji Baat) in the language switch: remembers your choice for up to a year so pages open in that language. Not readable by page scripts. Search engines are never redirected by it.
realm-wx-place (browser storage): Only if you pick a town in the farm weather card: remembers that town on your own device so the forecast opens there next time.
realm-live-chat (browser storage): Only if you start a "Chat with a person" conversation: lets the chat continue on other pages of this site on the same device. Cleared when you end the chat or after 24 hours.
realm-contact-draft (browser storage): Only if you start typing a message in our contact form: keeps your unsent message, topic, country and Listing ID on your own device so you don't lose it if the page closes or you lose signal. Your name, email and phone are never saved. Deleted when the message is sent, when you tap "Clear draft", or after 7 days.
realm-offline (browser cache): Keeps a copy of our "You're offline" page, logo, font and icon so we can show a friendly message if you lose signal. Contains no personal information and is replaced when the website updates.
Google Maps (third party, only if you ask): The map on the Contact page loads only when you tap "Show map". Google may then set its own cookies under its privacy policy.

Essential cookies: Keep you logged in, protect forms with reCAPTCHA, remember your cookie choice and process payments.
Analytics cookies: Show us which pages are popular so we can improve them, used only if you accept them.
Marketing cookies: Used only if we later run ads or social media tracking, and only with your consent.
